Cafe Leidenschaft in Frankfurt

Selection of dishes only limited to paninis and unfortunately there was no menu (in digital form). The coffee itself was okay, the selection of cakes was very large, but we didn't try it.

Wonderful café in a corner house on Berger Strasse. The latte macchiato is almost perfect, the kitchens and cake selection always super delicious and the staff very friendly and nice. You feel comfortable here.

Very delicious cake, but a café of this size, in this location, does not offer card payments is simply not up to date in the 21st century. It just says: "The boss doesn't like it" (on multiple visits).

The coffee is fine and so is the location, but the crew is very rude and I've heard racist comments from them. We will not visit this place again.

Very stingy kitchens sometimes dry, small pieces of expensive prices. If you asked for water, you would get penance and take empty glasses

Small and nice. Homemade cakes and tarts. Somewhat lively main area, side room quieter and more cozy, invites you to linger and read or gives you the opportunity for quiet, personal conversations.

Nice café on the Berger. There is the possibility to sit outside when the weather is nice and watch the goings-on on the Berger. Different cakes and sandwiches offer something for everyone. Good coffee and tea are also provided. The owner-run café invites you to return. The staff are friendly and quick in service. Would love to come back.

Very unfriendly service. Also beware of products which are not clearly priced in the menu - the prices charged for off the menu items are too high for a Berger Strasse location. Wouldn't recommend.

Reason why we didn’t give tips: the staff simply used RACIST WORDS to call us. If you see Chinese faces and call them “China Town”, can we call you Kartoffelfresser or Lederhoseträger? Totally disappointed, offended and it succeeded in ruining our afternoon.

It would easily be five stars for the cake, coffee and atmosphere. However: service unfortunately is sub par in terms of speed :-( we are here anyway very often. Just make sure to bring some time.
